Hello. If there is a Mailing List through which all the forthcoming public events (including small events like Movie Nights etc.) are announced, could you please let me be on the list? Thanks. tomo

I was wondering if you do staff training, for staff that work with children. I was also wondering if you have children’s programs that I could bring my group to or if you would come to us?

    Thanks.

  • Hi friends!

Just wanted to let you know that I linked to MRC on my new blog (in two places – the UAH poster on the front page and in on the links page).

If you have time, check it out and submit your events for the calendar. I’m hoping to use the blog as a resource for and to bring together the many segments of the Tompkins County activist community.

    Peace,
    Lynne

  • Please add me to the mailing list as well, if there is one! Thank you!

    Hi Lynne,

You’re so fabulous! I don’t always remember to post at different sites. Will try to do so in the future.

    Take care,
    Audrey

    Hi Leah,

Apologies for just now getting back to you, What type of training are you looking for? We don’t have programming for children unless we partner with a youth-serving organization. There are special events like our First Peoples’ Festival October 1st (Saturday) that expose children/youth to Indigenous culture. Let me know what you’re looking for. There are some things we can do like reading to children.

    Warmly,
    Audrey

    Hi,

I’m a Cornell spouse and I’ve been traveling to various countries, and I’ve found out that there are always people who discriminate against you, directly or indirectly, consciously or not, because of your racial, cultural and/or linguistical background. I wish more organizations like yours would exist everywhere to open people’s eyes on differences and on the fact that we’re all human beings with feelings. Thanks for your work!

    Dear Audrey,

I wanted to know if you could do training for our Volunteer Advocates who work with families. There are several that want to have training on how to deal with families who come from culturally diverse backgrounds. Could you get back to me? I would like to schedule something for a Saturday morning training in January.

    Thank you.
